So, as Carnival continued this weekend we partied on as the Spaniards do. And this weekend we had visitors!! Jack and his friend Amy came to Malaga for the weekend and we did it up big!

With not a lot of time (basically just Saturday to explore) we did just about all of the touristy stuff in Malaga ((for about the 6th time now?? haha it's a great workout though!)) and we even went to somewhere new!
We walked down the beach from the Malagueta to a fishing village called Pedregalejo.
It was a gorgeous walk and awesome views of the water!

After a bomb diggity weekend of exploring my (temporary) home in Malaga yet again [and always continually amazed and in awe at the beauty of the city and its architecture] and going out on the town while admiring all the costumes and Drag Queens all over the city, Carnival didn't end there for me!

Today in school the teachers and students celebrated Carnival by coming in dressed up in costume and enjoying the day playing in the yard. They even put together a friendly match of a game called Handball (which is not the game where you throw the little blue ball at the wall. It's like basketball but played on a soccer court. There's no kicking the ball. Just bouncing it and passing it to your teammates and throwing it into the goal)); and the game was played teachers versus students! Which got everyone really riled up!
A great day! And so many adorable costumes!
Just like Halloween in the States; all the kids dressed up as their favorite characters:
Disney Princesses, Buzz Lightyear, Spiderman, Batman, cowgirls, ladybugs, Darth Vadar, etc.
And even us teachers dressed up! It was so much fun!

I love getting dressed up in costume! Always have, always will!
Just a fun once in a while out of the ordinary thing to do, and I love the way it brings people together!
